Before undergoing eye surgery, I completed two 20”x20” acrylic paintings, titled Traveling Sister No. 1 and Traveling Sister No. 2 (you are currently viewing Traveling Sister No. 2). The canvases traveled with me to my artist retreat in the Hudson Valley, where I worked on them before shipping them back to Tampa for the finishing touches. During the process, I affectionately named the pair “sisters”—one being particularly stubborn, which brought a smile to my face. These paintings are truly special, with gold accents that shine beautifully in person. While photos can’t capture their full essence, I hope you can appreciate their unique charm.
